Brazilian State governors meet with John Kerry to discuss climate change
Representatives of the “Governors for Climate” group, composed of 24 Brazilian governors, met with the United States Special Envoy for Climate, John Kerry, to discuss the cooperation of the Biden administration for environmental issues in Brazil. The talks between the parts were initiated in April.
The goal, according to the group, is to bring on the support of the USA for the creation of the “largest decarbonization economy on the planet”, adding American investments to the diverse Brazilian forest ecosystems.
